For my brother’s wedding, I realised a personal work of art: a portrait inspired by the couple.

Thus, he’s French, fond of Klimt. She’s Chinese, very close to her culture. Both of them are really romantic, as all the eastern Asia lovers are.
Klimt used to live at the Japanese-inspired art period. I decided to work on “the kiss” by Klimt, THE lovers portrait. My brother and his wife to be appear in Chinese traditional suits. Around them, Chinese prosperity symbols, such as the mandarin ducks couple.

The bride will be touched. She will use it for their wedding announcement and their big day theme.

Today, the work of art is framed in their house at Shenzhen (near Hong Kong). It’s still a strong symbol of their union, as all my works of art become ones for other wed couples.
